The Adelaide University Rural Medical Society (AURMS) is the origin of the club we know today. Originating circa. 2000, the club provided opportunities for medical students interested in rural health. The logo of AURMS was a frisian cow.

AURHA
The Adelaide University Rural Health Alliance (AURHA) is the club we know and love today. The transition AURHA was completed by 2005 with the dentistry representative first introduced in 2004 followed by nursing and psychology in 2005. This has evolved to the multi-disciplinary club we have today.
